Electronic Seizure Diary Epivista®
In order to ensure the best possible treatment for our patients, the Northern German Epilepsy Center for Children and Adolescents has implemented the electronic seizure diary Epivista®. This tool provides caregivers and patients’ parents with an excellent synopsis of the entire course of the epilepsy of their child and establishes a sound basis for optimal treatment.
All information that you enter into the diary pertaining to seizures and the medications your child has received prior to treatment will considerably facilitate our treatment decisions.
Epivista® can be used on any internet-ready computer. With the help of the Epivista® info pamphlet (in German) you can familiarize yourself with the basic functions of the application.
If an in-patient visit in our clinic is scheduled for your child, please click Patient Registration to set up an electronic seizure diary for your child.
If you don’t own or have access to an internet-ready computer, then you should by all means make use of a paper calendar to document all past and future seizures as well as medications.
If your child is not being treated in our clinic, you can still set up and maintain an Epivista® diary since it is free of charge for all interested users. Just visit www.epivista.de to set up your seizure diary.
